Following the annual meeting of the GTF on February 28, 2018, the previous and current coordinators of the GTF Turkey Chapter, Prof. Dr. Üstün Ergüder and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın respectively, met with the Foreign Minister of Turkey, Mr Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on March 27, 2018, at his office in Ankara.
Mr. Çavuşoğlu and the GTF members had an exchange of opinions on the latest developments in Greek-Turkish relations and Cyprus issue. The GTF members also briefed Mr. Çavuşoğlu about the latest activities of the GTF in contributing to the environment of sustainable dialogue between Greece and Turkey.
Mr. Çavuşoğlu shared his opinion on current issues and bilateral relations between Greece and Turey, as well as Turkey’s position regarding the latest development on Cyprus. At end of the meeting, Mr. Çavuşoğlu reiterated his personal support for the continuation of the activities of the GTF.
