The Greek Turkish Forum met in Athens on October 30-31 to discuss recent developments in Greek-Turkish relations. At the end of the two-day meeting, the members decided to release a joint paper- set of ideas- as a contribution to the efforts of the two governments for the promotion of a Positive Agenda between Greece and Türkiye. The set of suggestions were delivered to foreign ministries of both countries to support the positive agenda ahead of the upcoming High-Level Cooperation Council meeting between the two countries.
Welcoming the current positive effort undertaken by the two governments, the members of the Greek Turkish Forum suggested first focusing on non-political bilateral issues as a means for building trust between the two governments and acclimatizing the two societies for further progress.
