During one of its regular meetings in Cyprus, members of the GTF paid a visit to the Turkish Cypriot leader, Mustafa Akıncı at his office in Nicosia on February 12, 2017. Several members of the Forum from Greece, Turkey and Cyprus attended the meeting hosted by Mr. Mustafa Akıncı.
Mr. Akıncı and the GTF members had an exchange of views on the latest developments regarding the Cyprus issue. While Mr. Akıncı briefed the GTF members on recent changes in connection with the Island, the forum members expressed their opinions question Mr Akıncı on his views.
The Greek-Turkish Forum continues to contribute to the establishment of a sustainable dialogue between the Turkish Cypriots and the Greek Cypriots.
