Ambassador (ret.) Cengiz K. Fırat, having graduated from TED Ankara College, Buckingham University (BA in Politics and Modern History) and College of Europe-Brugge (MA on the European Union), worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye between 1993 and 2024. He served in EU Delegation-Brussels, Algiers, OECD-Paris, Stockholm and as Ambassador in Bishkek-Kyrgyzstan and Warsaw-Poland. He is married with one child, lives in Bodrum, Türkiye, and currently writes articles and commentates on foreign policy and does a podcast concerning Bodrum.
