Prof. Dr. Mensur Akgün is the Director of the Global Political Trends Center (GPoT) and the Chair of the Department of International Relations at Istanbul Kültür University. He completed his doctoral studies at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. From 2002 to 2009 he served as the director of the Foreign Policy Program at the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (TESEV). He currently writes for Karar Newspaper.
